Nice, updated rooms. We stay at a lot of local hotels to get away as husband and wife now that our kids are older. This is by far the most friendly staff we've ever encountered! We've stayed at about a dozen hotels in the Portland metro area since August, so a few months now, and (with the exception of Embassy Suites Hillsboro) nobody could even come close to comparing to the staff at Hilton Garden Inn - a HUGE "shout out" to Jade at the front desk for exceptional customer service and absolutely going the "extra mile." The fitness center is really, really nice. More options and more equipment than all of the other hotels we've stayed.

We stayed just one night to break up our travel. This hotel was more than comfortable and accommodating. They had a sheet that listed many restaurant choices for dinner. Which is so helpful when you don't know the town. When we had left the next day, we realized we left a pillow. The hotel called us later in the afternoon asking if we wanted to have it shipped home. We are going home the same way, so we will pick it up then. That was very kind.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was great and provided easy access to food, gas and the interstate. I liked that they had a bar and grill downstairs but Inwish the hours were a little longer. The hotel staff was very accommodating when it came to requesting additional items such as blankets, towels and pillows.

I love their pet policy. Everywhere else charges per dog/per night which can be really expensive. But Hilton Garden Inn has a flat rate based on the number of nights stayed. For this reason, this will be the only hotel I ever lodge in for future trips.
